| Video Discription | Someone told me that there might be some celebrations for New Year (according to the Newari calendar), and to take an hour-long ride on the back of a motorcycle taxi, through dense traffic, to the outskirts of Kathmandu to find out. I scored -- out of tens of thousands of people, I saw only two other foreigners! Nepalis are some of the most hospitable people I have met and they party hard.
