| Video Discription | Nagpanchmi is a famous traditional fastival celebrated in Marathi month 'Shravan' in Maharastra. On Nagpanchami peoples pray to Nag means Snacks. Celebration of this fastivel and prasad offered is varies from place to place and traditions to traditions. In this video I am sharing our traditional nagpanchmi pooja celebration and it's prasad. We prepare tasty crispy sweet prasad with healthy jaggery and wheat flour. so try it Do remember to like and share this recipe. Also subscribe my channel for more videos. Ingredients: . 2 cup wheat flour . 3-4 tbsp jowar(sorgum) flour .1 cup jaggery . oil for deep fry . salt .1/2 cup water Method: . Mix jaggery and water together and prepare jaggery syrup. . Strain jaggery syrup to remove impurities. . In a big plate ,take wheat and jowar flour,add salt as per taste. . Add 1 & 1/2 tbsp hot oil in it and mix well. . Add jaggery syrup and knead a hard dough of above mixture. . Cover the dough and allow to rest it for 5-10 minutes. . Knead the dough again and prepare the 5 different shapes of this dough as shown in video . We called these shapes as 'Diva' , 'Limbu', 'Naral', ' veni' and 'fani'. . Prepare all shapes of dough in set of 5. . Heat oil in a pan and deep fry it. . You can also steam all this shapes if you don't want to deep fry it. . Nagpanchami prasad is ready as per our tradition. . Enjoy this crispy sweet prasad,after offering to Lord Nag. |
