| Video Discription | Tour of My Hobby Grow. This is my first grow using a Recirculating Deep Water Culture, or RDWC system for growing marijuana. After weeks of research and shopping online I came up with a plan and designed this system. Find me on Instagram @mylittlehobbygrow I have 3 different strains growing. 1 - Gorilla Cookies 1 - Grape Ape 2 - Grand Daddy Purple Seeds were in paper towel for 48 hours and then went into Rapid Rooter on Sunday November 1st. This video was shot one week later and all 4 seedlings seem to be coming along well. Set up is in an 8'x4' Vivosun Grow Tent. Reservoir is a 27 gallon tote and grow totes are 12 gallon. Whole system is 45 gallons. Pump is a 880 gallon per hour submersible. Each tote has an air stone and the grow totes have a 1/4 inch feed line with 1 1/2 inch return. The set up with the 1/4 inch feed lines is working quite well at this time. My original idea of using 2 irrigation misters in each tote didn't work out and plan B ended up being better, with virtually no chance of clogging. I will post a better detail video of the system in the future. I am currently using 2 lights, a California Lightworks Solar Extreme 500 and a Spider Farm SF 4000. My exhaust is an AC Infinity T6 Cloudline with control module. For nutes I am keeping it simple with General Hydroponics Trio Line. Biggest problem so far was figuring out the PH. I added 8oz to the system to finally get it to stay at a stable 6.74. I could not get it any lower as I ran out of PH down for the moment. Plants are still doing fine.
