| Video Discription | In this video we venture out of the non-touristy area which we are staying in Muscat, Oman to visit the corniche and the Mutrah Souk (local market) where we see the true beauty of the city of Muscat and indeed the country of Oman, we were however shocked how expensive it was there! We also tried a local coconut drink, climbed the Mutrah Fort and visited the back alleys as well as rode a taxi with the local company called OTAXI. This was a completely different experience to the experience we had in the area we were staying in outside the tourist district and we are glad we came as this was an eye-opening experience. So join us in this video where we walk thorugh the bustling market, bask in the scortching hot desert heat and meet locals so friendly that no other nation can complete with the kindness and genorousity shown to us!
