| Video Discription | How To Make Mughlai Chicken Curry At Home - Royal Mughlai Chicken Recipe - Creamy Mughlai Chicken Gravy Mughlai chicken is a mild, rich and creamy dish developed in the medieval Indo-Persian cultural centers of the Mughal Empire. Mughlai chicken curry has a rich, creamy and aromatic gravy. I have tried my best to make it in an easy way so that it can be followed with ease even if you are a beginner or new to Indian cuisine. 🔔Please click on the link below and subscribe to Curries With Bumbi so that I can bring more new recipes for you-- https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCc5O8GaMvAGjmvENEvvqZrg Ingredients required for making restaurant style Mughlai Chicken - serves 6 to 7 * 860 gm/1.8 lb boneless skinless chicken thighs or 1 kg bone in chicken pieces. For marination - * 1/2 teaspoon chilli powder * juice of 1/2 of a lemon/lime For the gravy - * 2 large onions * 6 to 7 large garlic cloves * 2 inch length ginger * 4 green chilies. You can add one green chili to your blender while making a paste if you like it to be spicy. * 2 heaped tablespoons/20gm unsalted cashew nuts * 2 heaped tablespoons golden raisins Soak the cashews and raisins in hot water for an hour or overnight if you do not have a powerful blender. * 1 tablespoon tomato ketchup or tomato paste * 5 heaped tablespoons unsweetened plain unflavored yogurt(curd). Taste curd/yogurt before using. If it is too sour then please use fresh curd/yogurt as it will make the dish too sour. * 2 dry bay leaves * 1 inch length cinnamon stick * 5 green cardamoms * 1 teaspoon kashmiri red chilli powder/paprika * 2 teaspoons heaped ground coriander (dhania powder) * 1/4th teaspoon ground nutmeg (jaifal powder) * 1 heaped teaspoon shahi garam masala / regular garam masala powder. Use coconut milk if allergic to dairy. * 1 teaspoon Kewra(Keora) water. This is totally optional. * 2 tablespoons oil * 2 tablespoons ghee (clarified butter) * 1 & 1/2 teaspoons salt or as per taste * 1 teaspoon heaped sugar Tips - * Use a non stick pan or a heavy bottomed pan/pot if possible as any nut based gravy has a tendency to stick to the bottom. * take out the onions as soon as you see them turning golden brown. They keep on cooking even after taking them out so switch off heat while taking out the onions. Do not let them turn too dark as the curry will turn bitter and you won't get that beautiful color too. * Make this Mughlai chicken curry the day before you plan to serve as it tastes even better the next day. * Serve this Mughlai chicken curry with naan or paratha or sweet pulao (recipe link given below) or plain white Basmati rice.
