| Video Discription | Mestemacher, a large-scale bakery, generates power with a modular CHP plant from MTU Onsite Energy. The plant generates 849 kW per hour, of which 40% is used for baking. The rest is fed into the public grid. The bakery also has an absorption chiller and steam generator with downstream steam accumulator. These allow Mestemacher to use the thermal energy from the CHP module at almost all stages of the baking process.
