The IMD has also predicted extremely heavy falls over Assam & Meghalaya, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, & Sikkim. Orange alert has been issued across the southern peninsula, Kerala, and coastal Karnataka. The rain situation is likely to decrease after isolated rainfall in Gujarat. Uttarakhand is predicted to experience heavy to very heavy rainfall over the next 4–5 days. While Delhi-NCR will witness light to moderate rainfall over the next 5 days.
