WEEKLY TWITCH STREAMS! - https://twitch.tv/SlyFearless In this video, I discuss the background of Minecraft's original plan for its first three dimensions, and how the now-removed Sky Dimension was meant to provide a sort of "heaven-like" aspect to the game. Of course, it's now been replaced by the End as its own dimension. Many people were excited about the addition of this new dimension with Minecraft originally being in Beta. PC Gamer would post an article about Minecraft's Sky dimension as the third dimension along with the Overworld and Nether, sparking a tweet from Notch that would promise the addition of the dimension into the game eventually. But various technical issues would occur with the dimension that would seemingly put it to rest. Do you think there's any chance that it could, one day, return? The goal and purpose of this video are to explain Minecraft's history of adding dimensions into the game, and specifically how the Sky dimension was a promised aspect of the game that would ultimately not make the final cut for the new game; however, it would manifest itself through the form of a NEW third dimension.
