If you're like me and became a fan of the series by playing metal gear solid back in the 90s, chances are you had no idea who Big Boss was and why he was so important to the plot. Now, this game doesn't answer many questions but it does give us the origin story of Solid Snake as a Foxhound rookie and his past with Big Boss. The original Metal Gear didn't only introduce us to one of the most iconic video game characters of all time, it also gave birth to many of the staples we love and adore in the franchise to this day. Since the story is shorter in this game, I did add more information about the gameplay itself since so many people have never played it and I wanted them to feel like they were actually experiencing some of it.
