| Video Discription | This video is a demonstration of the Maudsley’s Test. The purpose of the Maudsley's Test is to test the integrity of the Extensor Carpi Radialis Brevis tendon where a positive Maudsley's Test could indicate a potential diagnosis of Tennis Elbow or Lateral Epicondylitis. With your patient seated, extend their elbow and ****ate their forearm.While palpating their lateral epicondyle, resist the extension of their hand’s 3rd digit to stress the extensor digitorum muscle and tendon. A positive Maudsley's Test is indicated by the reproduction of pain over the lateral epicondyle of the humerus. |
