| Video Discription | Mikey Sutton just officially launched his website Geekositymag.com and with it came a bunch of new scoops which I’ll be covering over the next few days, but today’s report talks about the Midnight Sons and their introduction to the MCU and he starts off by saying They live for the darkness. The hellish heroes of the Midnight Sons have been tossed back and forth between TV and film the past few years in terms of development. Jeph Loeb wanted them for Hulu with Ghost Rider and Hellstrom. But that changed when Blade was suddenly greenlit and Kevin Feige took over Marvel TV. It's been revealed to me that the Midnight Sons are being positioned to form in Blade 2, with the Johnny Blaze Ghost Rider discussed to cameo in the first movie. However, who else will be in the Midnight Sons? The Midnight Sons are being talked about to consist of Blade, Ghost Rider, Jennifer Kale, Man-Thing, Werewolf by Night, and Nadeen Hassan aka Glyph. Without any filmmakers attached, the line-up could be tweaked so this isn't final by any means as the Punisher was also previously discussed. Now let’s break this down a bit, in the comics the Midnight sons were brought together by Dr. Strange who I have no doubt will eventually join them, if he isn’t the one who brings them together in Blade 2 or hints more towards them in Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. And many other characters have been part of the team like Moon Knight who will most likely also join them eventually and Morbius who depending on what Marvel and Sony’s future plans are whether to eventually allow any Spider-Man character to crossover to the MCU or keep them separate and only have Spider-Man travel between, which doesn’t seem like that’s the case as we saw Michael Keaton’s Adrian Toomes aka the Vulture in the Morbius trailer, then Morbius could very well join them as well. Then there’s also other characters like Elsa Bloodstone and Helstrom who depending on how his Hulu show goes and if the contract with Hulu for the character is up by then which it seems like it will be and since the show is only getting one season it makes it seem like Kevin Feige and Marvel already have plans to introduce the character after most likely recasting him to differentiate between Hulu’s version.
