In 2007 he completed his teacher training with Hari Kaur, whom he trained with since high school. Teaching now for 10 years, his classes are known for their humor, subtle meditative awareness and sound healing gong. His photography has been featured in publications such as The New Yorker, The New York Times, Time, The Guardian, Vogue and many others. An interest in Nihang Sikhs brought him to India multiple times in the past several years to work on an ongoing book project on Nihang Sikhs, which consequently provided an experience of spiritual learning and opportunity to form a relationship with Teacher and Saint Baba Nihal Singh who blessed him with the spiritual name Guru Prem in 2018. |
