| Video Discription | We made history on Sunday 19th May 2024, orchestrating a women’s march for over 2000 young girls and women to 10 Downing Street, the British Prime Minister’s Office, in support of the girl child. Having supported the girl child for the last 20 years with platforms, opportunities and millions of pounds, we now call upon the UK government do their part. The march concluded with a closing summary at Rishi Sunak’s office, which read: “For the last two decades, I have dedicated efforts to the peace and prosperity of the girl child. I have worked with thousands of women from all walks of life. I have raised CEOs, captains of industries, political leaders, and female activists, from the most unlikely backgrounds and marginalised communities. I have personally participated in the achievement of their personal prosperity, here in the City of London reaching to the global community.” “Despite all our efforts, one of the biggest issues concerning the girl child today is the disparity of women in leadership which leads to a lack of positive role models and fosters discrimination.” “That’s why we are petitioning the U.K. government to invest and support women-led enterprises and communities for economic growth, ensuring that all talent is allowed to flourish, through a statutory public enquiry into the intentional advocacy and investment of initiatives that promote entrepreneurship, training, and equal access to employment.” |
