Facebook link: https://www.facebook.com/maatusrecipes Instagram link: https://www.instagram.com/invites/contact/?i=me3dyi4p383e&utm_content=ngrm93k You will need: Peeled and chopped mangoes: 3 Sugar: 1 cup Cardamom powder: ¼ tsp Ghee: Preparation: Peel the mangoes (3) and chop them into medium pieces In a mixer jar, add mango pieces and blend to get a smooth paste Transfer the mango paste to a hot pan Stir for 1 to 2 minutes Add sugar (1 cup) and mix well Let sugar dissolve completely Stir continuously and cook in medium flame till the mango mixture changes color Cook till the mixture thickens and becomes shiny Add cardamom powder (1/4 tsp) and mix well Cook in medium flame for total 10 to 15 minutes till the mixture thickens and stop sticking to pan Remove form flame **** Apply ghee (1/2 tsp) to a plate Gently pour the mango mixture on the plate and spread it evenly Tap the plate so the mixture is spread well Sun-dry the mixture for 2 to 3 days **** Once the mixture is completely dry, loosen the edges with a knife Remove the mango jelly gently from the plate Make sure the jelly doesn’t stick to the plate Cut the jelly into desired pieces Store in sir-tight container Mamidi Tandra / Mango Jelly is ready |
