He said that while he was not adverse to use of loudspeakers on special occasions, he wouldn’t tolerate them blaring throughout the year. Thackeray, addressing an MNS rally in Thane, on the outskirts of Mumbai, appealed to Hindus to play Hanuman Chalisa on loudspeakers outside mosques if the loudspeakers at mosques continued to relay azaan. “This is not a religious matter.
