| Video Discription | We spent the 2016 New Years Eve at Madeira. The island is not large (it's only about the size of a big city), but the terrain is very undulating: it's hard to find a flat ground or a street that is not steep. We had only one week, and the weather was far from perfect, but we still experienced a lot: hikes in the mountains and on the rocky coasts, volcano museum, lava caves and pools, tobogan on the Monte, botanical gardens, and last but not least, the great NYE Fireworks of Funchal. All spectacular, and very diverse. Must go back someday.
