During the people's war, a lady who had just stepped on the threshold of womanhood is confronted with the news of her husband's death, who had died in the line of duty. And to make matters worse, they had just tied the knot for a shot at marital bliss. She's in a dilemma, whether to accept or deny the cruel hand of destiny. But the relief fund from the government and the fragmented body parts she receives force her to come to terms with the bitter truth. The hole of conservative tradition which the villagers have dug threatens to engulf the young widow. Our Nepalese society with its sets of values and traditions doesn't allow an eighteen year old to remarry. So, she anxiously awaits the arrival of her love from amidst the clouds which disperse to light a path for the moon.
