| Video Discription | Hello everyone, not a running video today but some thoughts on my XRT after a year of bashing it. Also i had to fix something (thought it was the center diff - which it was not) ... So here´s what i´ve done to the car so far: - GPM upper wing-mount - GPM rings for the diff-outs - GPM mudgards on the front shocks - GPM shaft for the Spurgear - GPM CVD Joints Aluminium 7075-T6 Wheel Hex Hubs in the front - Louise X-Rowdy wheels and tires (broken two already ...) - some cheap wheel-nuts just for the looks of it Things that broke in that year: - the Original wheels+tires held up for about 15 (long) runs - stripped one of the rear-wing screws threading - bent one shock-shaft in the front - got some cracks in the back of the body and a hole in it Stuff i´m going to fix in this video: - broken upper rear bulkhead - new hardened steel pinion and spurgear - Vitavon Diffhousing for the center diff - replacing the little bearing that started all the mess ^^ Long stroy short ... After a year of driving i still think the XRT is well worth the money. Sure, it´s not a cheap RC and you definitely need to be willing to fix things on it but overall it´s a really durable model. Stock electronics are fine, for me personally, but you might have an eye on the stock servo which is definitely on the weaker side. Working on it is ok although, depending on what you need to do it might take a little longer to get to the parts in there. Parts are widely available and the prices are fair. Lot´s of thirt party-upgrades are available also but prizes for those are quite high. Anyways, just a short one today to let you know some of my thoughts on the XRT after using it for one year.
