In this episode, Craig visits Sharron and Scott to ask them about their journey to self-sufficiency and the realities of off-grid living on their lifestyle block in Northland. We chat about the challenges, the maintenance, and the awesome achievements throughout their journey! After moving from a comfortable residential home to living off-grid on a bare ex-forestry block, Sharron acknowledges that the journey to restore the land has been a challenge. Sharron and Scott have since installed electric fences for their cattle, and by using as much recycled material as possible, developed an outhouse and other dwellings, with much much more still to go.
