| Video Discription | Unequal level in the testis if identified in about an age of 20’s or the 30’s,means that there might be a functional deficit there present .in normal, one testis is higher to the other. That is normal. So we must understand that the testis is not equally placed. One is higher than the other. If it is really higher on one side, then it means that it has not been identified before and it is called as an undescended testis that is present and now it had descended now into the scrotum called as retractile testis and nothing needs to be done. In some cases it can be caused due to trauma or it has been fixed due to tumor. Sometimes chronic infection of the testis cause retraction of the testis causing to be higher than the above. These patients should be evaluated for the cause and then treated. |
