| Video Discription | During LDN Awareness Week, which is June 17th to 23rd, we would like all LDN patients who haven't yet participated in the LDN and anti-aging survey to do so and share the link. The survey is about the effects of Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) on diseases of ageing. A retrospective cross-sectional study into the off-label use of LDN, which refers to the use of a medication for a condition or in a patient population not included in the approved labeling. The Principal Investigator is Dr. Sajad Zalzala. The Institute is the LDN Research Trust. Belmar Pharmacy is the sponsor. The contact email is [email protected]. About the study: It has been reviewed and approved by an institutional review board (I.R.B.). The Institute of Regenerative and Cellular Medicine, a renowned institution known for its rigorous ethical standards and commitment to advancing medical research. We will investigate any effects LDN on general health and aging-related diseases. Participation and Eligibility: Participating in the study is entirely voluntary and free. You have the power to withdraw your consent at any time or ask any questions you may have by emailing [email protected]. We value your autonomy and respect your decision-making process. No payment or reward is given, as we believe your contribution to the study is invaluable. Participants must be at least 18 years old, take LDN for a diagnosed medical condition, have the legal ability to make their own decisions and complete the questionnaire only once. Questions will include Information about your health, past and present, medication use, and family medical history. If available, you could be asked to provide blood test results. The tests will look at markers for ageing, immune status, and general health status. The questionnaire is designed to gather comprehensive data about your health and LDN use, ensuring a thorough analysis of the study's objectives. Participants will not be asked to stop or change the dosing of their medications, including LDN. This survey should take you less than 20 minutes to complete. Participants who are taking LDN 20 mg per day or more, have terminal cancer are NOT eligible. Purpose: No studies have yet investigated the long-term effects of LDN use and how it affects the general health of patients taking this medication. We aim to explore this by assessing patients' health using LDN for various conditions. We also aim to determine whether LDN use has prevented the use of other medications. Benefits and Disadvantages: While there are no direct health benefits to you as a participant, your contribution could help patients in the future by contributing to a better understanding of the health effects of LDN. Your participation might lead to the development of more effective treatments or preventive strategies. There are no health risks in participating. Confidentiality: Your privacy is of utmost importance to us. All information you provide will be stored securely on JotForm.com, which is password-protected and secure. Your Data will be coded with a unique anonymous identification number, ensuring your anonymity. It will be available only to researchers who have approval, further ensuring the confidentiality of your information. Upon two years of completion, identifiable Information will be deleted, and only the anonymous data will be stored securely.
