| Video Discription | Harsha gave her talk whilst studying in Year 8 at Sha Tin College. She gave an interactive talk on the possible fears of how Artificial Intelligence is increasingly encroaching on our lives. She started by showing a simple AI-based toy that she had created, using a simple algorithm, and then went on to discuss other applications and innovations, some of which are more fear-inducing than others, citing the examples of driverless cars, Siri, drone warfare, and Sophia the robot citizen of Saudi Arabia. Harsha is a gifted young student whom until recently studied at Sha Tin College, Hong Kong, before moving overseas. She displays a precocious awareness of technology and its wider implications on human progress. She has successfully built programs and developed software, and is undoubtedly a rising star of the future in this field.
