John Wick: Chapter 4 director Chad Stahelski teases an action-packed fight scene between Donnie Yen and Hiroyuki Sanada in the upcoming sequel. After the success of 2019's John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum, Keanu Reeves' titular assassin will return in the upcoming fourth installment of the beloved action franchise to take on the High Table in a globe-trotting adventure. In addition to bringing back a number of returning characters, including Laurence Fishburne's Bowery King and Ian McShane's Winston, John Wick: Chapter 4 will also be introducing several new ones, including Caine, played by Yen, and Shimazu, played by Sanada. In a recent interview with Collider, Chad Stahelski, who has directed every John Wick film thus far, teases that Donnie Yen and Hiroyuki Sanada will have an epic showdown in John Wick: Chapter 4. While the director doesn't go into too specifics, he reveals that both actors brought their own unique mindsets and martial arts experiences to the film, which resulted in a fight scene that pushes boundaries in a number of ways. Who Is Donnie Yen Playing In John Wick 4? Yen is an actor and martial artist from Hong Kong who is well-known in the action movie community for his work in the Ip Man franchise. Caine remains somewhat mysterious in John Wick: Chapter 4, but the character has been described as an old friend of Wick's with a similar history.
