The right hand has some pretty 'fingery' passagework that can be deceptively tricky (in the 2nd half). Full transparency: I also made audio edit (towards the end) to get rid of a silly mistake (wrong bass note) that ruined an otherwise great take. Sharp-eared listeners may be able to tell. The first half of the arrangement is an older version of the theme that I posted years ago. It stays very true to the original (perhaps a bit more waltz-like accompaniments), and I wanted to have a sense of completion/arrival at the end (hence the dynamics and rubato). The second half is an embellished version of the full theme. I had a hard time coming up with embellishments that didn't seem extraneous/fit properly within the piece. You be the judge. The ending section is a development of the initial figuration in the Zelda Main Theme, finishing with a virtuosic flourish with some inspiration from Liszt. I hope you enjoy. Your Pianist, Erik C.
