Cornflour -1/2cup 2. Water 3. Sugar -1cup+1/4cup 4. Lemon -1 5. Ghee -2tb 6. Elaichi powder -1/4ts 7. Dry friuts 8. Green /Orange food colour Method... Take a bowl add Cornflour and 1&1/2cup Water mix it. In a kadhai add Sugar, 1cup Water mix and boil add lemon juice mix and gas off, then add cornflour slury and mix it continously, then gas on and mix it till mixture get thick. add ghee and mix it till mixture get transparent. add Elaichi powder,Dry fruits,food colour mix it well.take a mould grease with ghee pour hot halwa mixture and spread evenly. keep 1-2hr in kitchen counter..then cut into pieces..our Bombay Karachi Halwa Barfi is ready to eat.. |
