| Video Discription | Chase Sexton, the reigning 450MX national champion, will miss the 2024 Motocross of Nations (MXoN) due to injuries sustained during a collision with Justin Barcia in Las Vegas. This incident occurred during the first lap of the opening moto at the SuperMotocross World Championship (SMX) Final, effectively ending Sexton's bid for the SMX title. Following the crash, Sexton was diagnosed with back and shoulder pain, compounded by a bone contusion in his right hand. These injuries, stemming from what has been described as a racing incident, have led to his withdrawal from representing Team USA at the MXoN, scheduled for Matterley Basin from October 4-6. Joey Savatgy, a twice FIM World Supercross runner-up, has signed with Fire Power Honda for the upcoming World Supercross (WSX) season. With only two 450cc slots left to fill for 2024, Savatgy's transition to Fire Power Honda marks a significant move in the WSX landscape. Originally from Thomasville, Georgia, Savatgy has been a mainstay in WSX since its inception in 2022, boasting notable victories in Melbourne and Abu Dhabi, which underlines his status as one of the championship's premier riders. Maxime Grau, a promising young French rider, made a notable debut in the GP world back in 2021 with Nestaan Husqvarna, having previously only competed in one round of the EMX125 but securing a position in the EMX250 series the same year. Since his debut, Grau has faced health setbacks, including battling Epstein–Barr virus, followed by a series of injuries. His racing journey took him through stints with BT Husqvarna and a brief period with VHR GasGas at the start of the 2024 season, before German outfit WZ KTM signed him for the second round of the EMX250 series.
