Judy, along with her six crewmates, would lose her life tragically on January 28th 1986 aboard the space shuttle Challenger, when a faulty O-ring on a solid rocket booster caused the shuttle to break up violently, 73 seconds after launch. A tragic loss of a beautiful woman. RIP Judy. This video is dedicated to all American astronauts and Russian cosmonauts who have lost their lives during the course of manned space exploration. |
