You'll recognize his work on the original Guardians of the Galaxy prior to the creation of Image. From his creation of Normalman to ShadowHawk he's always had a presence on the indie scene. It was in 1999 though when he took the reins as publisher of Image Comics that he once again helped change the landscape of comics. He brought in new talent and helped transition Image into what we know it as today.
