This comedic sitcom was arguably one of Jennette McCurdy’s biggest roles, landing her a plethora of opportunities in the entertainment industry. Because of this, it leaves many wondering why she would walk away from a tremendous amount benefits by not partaking in the 2021 reboot. On her podcast and many other interviews, McCurdy explains how damaging acting as a child was for her mental health. This damage has caused her to leave this career path indefinitely.
