Habanos Vintage by Habanos SA
Habanos, S.A. has introduced a new concept of exclusive ageing in its portfolio, leveraging its rich history and tradition. Enthusiasts and collectors worldwide often preserve Habanos launched decades ago, valuing their unique properties ideal for ageing. Markets like the UK, Switzerland, and Hong Kong have long traditions of ageing Habanos, which enhances their biochemical and sensory characteristics, delivering a smoother, more delightful taste with delicate sweet and woody notes.
Unlike tobacco leaf ageing, Vintage Habanos refers to fully rolled cigars stored in their original wooden boxes, sealed, and marked with the month and year of manufacture. These cigars age under perfect conditions regulated by the Habanos Protected Appellations of Origin (P.A.O.) Council, ensuring a minimum of 5 years for the ageing benefits to manifest. The required conditions include temperatures of 16°C to 18°C, humidity levels of 65% to 75%, and an environment free of odours or fumes.

Vintage 5: Aged 5 to 10 years.
Vintage 10: Aged 10 to 15 years.
