One of the most famous global ramen chains originating in Fukuoka is Ichiran, and today we are going to go eat at the original, the headquarters! First is that they have a full checklist system where you can decide and customize your bowl to your liking - everything from how rich the broth will be to how chewy the noodles will be and the spice level you’d like, plus additional topping and additions. Next, Ichiran Ramen is famous for their dining room style where you have your own personal ramen booth so you can eat and enjoy your bowl of ramen all by yourself without any distractions. It’s a pretty cool concept if you’re eating alone especially.
