| Video Discription | ISRO recently launched NVS-O1, a second-generation satellite in Indian navigation system from Sriharikota (Andhra Pradesh). The satellite is heavier (2232 kg) in weight than other satellites of IRNSS. It has life span of 12 years, 2 years more than other satellites. It can navigate in L1 band which is used by other navigation system like GPS, thus enabling interoperability.
