S Somnath will be the 10th chairman of the Indian Space Research Organisation. On Wednesday, a personnel ministry order was issued announcing Somnath's appointment. Expressing happiness over his appointment, he said we need to bring in newer approaches. K Sivan, the outgoing chairperson, will be completing his extended term on friday.
