In the first speech by a high-ranking official since Israel killed Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, Naim Qassem said the battle "may be long". At the same time, Israel's defence minister Yoav Gallant told troops near the Lebanese border they are prepared to use forces "from the air, sea, and land".
