| Video Discription | Instant Handvo recipe - Ingredients - For batter - 3/4 cup semolina (Suji) 1/2 cup oats (coarsely crushed) 1/3 cup chickpea flour (besan) 2 tblsps rice flour 250 grams grated bottle gourd (Lauki) 1/2 cup boiled green peas (mutter) 1/2 cup boiled sweet corns 1/2 cup sour yoghurt (Dahi) 1 tblsp jaggery (gud) 2 tsps salt (or as per taste) 2 tblsps coarsely crushed peanuts 1 tsp red chilly powder 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder (Haldi powder) 1 1/2 tsps garlic paste 1 1/2 tsps ginger paste 2 tsps green chilly paste 1 tsp coriander seeds powder (Dhaniya powder) 2 tblsps oil 1 tsp fruit salt (Eno) For baghaar - 3 tblsps oil 1 tsp mustard seeds (Rai) 1/2 tsp cumin seeds (Jeera) 3 cloves (Lavang) 1 cinnamon stick (Dalchini) 2 tsps sesame seeds (til) Method - Mix all the ingredients for the batter in a mixing bowl along with 1 cup to 1 1/4 cup water as required. For Baghaar - 1) Heat oil, add rai, Jeera, Lavang, Dalchini. As the Rai crackles, switch off the gas and add til. Add fruit salt (Eno) to the prepared batter and mix well and add it immediately inside the baghaar. 2) Spread the baghaar on the batter and close the lid. Cook it upto 10 minutes on low flame. Then open the lid and flip it and cook it upto 8-10 minutes. 3) Serve hot with green chutney. |
