In this video, I’m going to walk you through the best way to deal with that disappointment, and help your kids or loved ones through theirs, too. It’s not selfish or silly to have these emotions when “bigger” or “worse” things are going on in the world. Give yourself permission to feel those emotions. Allow yourself space to process what you’re feeling before you start moving a hundred miles an hour, scrambling for a way to fix the problem. Talk about how you’re feeling with your family, friends, or anyone that is offering you support. We need to be there for each other through the discomfort, sadness and the anger of this moment.
