They show that the incision is quite deep - and point out potential technical errors which can lead to complications like meatal stenosis or fistula following hypospadias repair when these steps aren't done correctly. In this patient, there is a narrow urethral plate. It opens widely when incised all the way down to the corpora. Average increase in UP width before and after TIP incision is more than 100%! |
