In a bowl add flour and 1 tsp of salt snd 4 tbs of oil and mix and Knead the dough by adding water little at a time , keep kneading add 2 tbs of oil, knead more. Cover and rest for 30 minutes. After 30Minutes, add 2 tbs of ghee (clarified butter) Softly knead. Smooth dough ready keep it aside for later use. Stuffing( puran ) sweet stuffing : 2. In Bowl 3. 3 Cups of chana dal( split garbanzo beans) 4. Washed and soaked for an hour 5. In a pressure pan add soaked chana dal 6. Add enough water to cover then cover with the lid 7. Put the weight and cook for 3 whistles 8. Remove the lid once cool 9. Mash the lentil until soft 10. Add lentil to the pan 11. Cook until water evaporates 12. Add 3 cups of brown sugar 13. Add 1 tbs of cardamom powder 14. Give a mix and dissolve the sugar 15. Cook until thick consistency forms 16. Add 1 - 2 tsps of clarified butter 17. Give a mix and 18. After few minutes it thickens 19. Puran stuffing is ready , keep it aside. 20. Dough is ready 21. Make lemon size dough balls and keep it ready 22. Cut the zip lock on both sides apply oil and put the dough balls In roll it out with rolling pin to make thin chapathi ( flat bread) and out the stuffing lemon size in the middle and cover with dough and press with rolling pin . 23. Stuffing - make lemon sized and cover with dough & press it out with your fingers outwards 24. Make the remaining ready with stuffing 25. On a non stick skillet at medium flame 26. Drizzle few drops of ghee or oil and spread 27. Put stuffed chapathi on tava and fry this until you see the bubbles snd brown spots and flip it on the other side 28. Fry it for 2 minutes and puran Poli is ready 29. Repeat the same process for the remaining , enjoy hot Puran Poli with ghee or just like that , it will melt in our mouths . 30.
