I follow the exact same way as in the video and it never happened to me. It could be milk nature that is the only difference in India and here in Singapore. Milk stays good for 1 week here. But I know in India next day itself milk goes bad. So if you are trying, please avoid milk first and add jaggery first. Keep boiled milk separately and mix later after switching off the stove. Aval payasam is very simple and easy one to make. This is made with jaggery and very common payasam in south Indian house holds. Can make the same with sugar too!
