| Video Discription | About the video - In the video I have given complete details about the taxation rules related to Fixed Deposits (FD). Fixed deposits (FDs) have always been a preferred investment source for people of all ages. FDs serve as a reliable asset, providing a secure return on investments in the form of interest. But there is often some confusion regarding the tax laws about FDs in India. According to the Income Tax Act, 1961, interest on FDs is treated as ‘income from other sources’ and hence, is fully taxable. , If the interest on FD is more than ₹40,000, then PAN users would be liable to pay 10% as tax and non-PAN users would pay 20% tax on interest earned. This interest would be deducted as TDS (tax deducted at source) at the time of credit of annual interest. The bank will automatically levy TDS on the interest earned on your fixed deposit in a given year. नमस्कार दोस्तों, सुरक्षित निवेश के लिहाज से फिक्स्ड डिपॉजिट (Fixed Deposit) सबसे बेहतर विकल्प माना जाता. लेकिन क्या आप जानते हैं? फिक्स्ड डिपॉजिट से होने वाली आय पर पूरा पूरा टैक्स लगता है. मतलब इसमें टैक्स की कोई छूट नहीं होती है. इसे आपकी कुल आय में जोड़ा जाता है और आपके टैक्स स्लैब के हिसाब से टैक्स लागू होता है. इनकम टैक्स रिटर्न भरते समय इसे “अन्य स्रोतों से होने वाली आय” के तहत रखा जाता है. यदि आप वरिष्ठ नागरिक नहीं हैं और आपकी FD पर ब्याज 40,000 रुपये से अधिक होता है तो बैंक इस पर दी जाने वाली ब्याज पर TDS काटते हैं. यदि आप सीनियर सिटिजन हैं तो 50,000 रुपये के बाद TDS काटा जाता है. यहां, ध्यान रखने वाली बात यह है कि TDS तब काटा जाता है, जब आपकी FD पर ब्याज जोड़ा जाता है या क्रेडिट किया जाता है, न कि तब, जब FD मेच्योर होती है. इस तरह, यदि आपने 3 साल की FD कराई है तो बैंक हर साल ब्जाय देते समय टीडीएस काटेंगे. ऊपर दिए गए वीडियो में मैने FD पर कब, कैसे और कितना टैक्स काटा जाता हैं इसके बारे में सारी जानकारी दी हैं और साथ में 3 ऐसी Tricks के बारे में बताया है जिससे हम अपने FDs पर tax कटने से बचा सकते हैं । आशा हैं मेरी वीडियो से आपको कुछ नई जानकारी मिलेगी । धन्यवाद । Topics covered - How much FD interest is tax free Tax exemption on fixed deposit interest TDS on FD interest limit How much tax is charged on FD ?
