Make it and impress everyone. #sweets #tasty #recipe Ingredients: Prepare Sugar Syrup (Sheera): Cheeni (Sugar) 2 Cups or to taste Pani (Water) 1& ½ Cup Yellow food color 2 pinch Prepare Dough: Maida (All-purpose flour) sifted 2 Cups Baking powder ½ tsp Baking soda 2 pinch Ghee 3 tbs Pani (Water) ¼ Cup or as required Ghee for frying Pista (Pistachio) for garnishing Silver warq for garnishing Directions: Prepare Sugar Syrup (Sheera): In a saucepan, add sugar, water and food color, mix well and cook on low flame until sugar is dissolved and continue to cook until the syrup becomes thick and set aside. Sugar syrup (sheera) is ready! Prepare Dough: In a bowl, add all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda and ghee and mix well until crumbled. Gradually add water and mix until combined (don’t over knead), cover and let it rest for 15 minutes. Take a small dough, make a ball and with the help of the thumb press from the center. In a wok, add ghee and let it melt, fry dough on low flame for 20-25 minutes. After frying, add bhalo shahi in warm sugar syrup (sheera) and leave them for 10-15 minutes and take out in a serving plate. Garnish with pistachio and silver warq & serve. |
