He decided to take action and join Ochsner Digital Medicine in 2020 after reflecting on his family’s story. Archie’s father passed away from a stroke at a young age, and Archie says that he did not want to repeat that history with his daughter. He says that many men in his family are “hard-nosed” and “don’t want to go see a doctor,” but he knew that he needed to break that cycle. Since joining the program, Archie says his blood pressure is under control and he feels more hopeful about his future.
