| Video Discription | For today’s video, Dr. Emer is going to be performing Renuvion as part of the 360 HD-Lipo procedure of a female patient which includes lipo to the torso and thighs with Renuvion internal radiofrequency helium plasma, a tummy tuck, and fat transfer to the buttock and hips. Renuvion "shrink wraps" the skin after the fat is removed to give the patient a tighter contour to their finished look. My young female patient is a mother that noticed her skin start sagging and loosening after having children. She had lipedema, disproportionate fat in her legs, loose skin, and cellulite. When treating her legs, I had to be conservative because I was addressing different areas of the body, removing problem areas of fat and working on her disproportion. While I would like to remove more fat here, I can’t because it will be taking too much fat at once. Additional procedures can be done later to shrink down the area more. Those patients with mild sagging that may have a little bit of cellulite and want more tightening in different areas of the body such as the knees, chin area, and lower stomach, can greatly benefit from adding Renuvion to their 360 HD-Lipo procedure. For this patient, we are doing Renuvion in the back, upper stomach, and legs. This procedure along is not for someone that needs skin removal, which is why this female patient today is also getting a tummy tuck to remove the excess skin in her stomach area. Patients can expect 2 weeks of downtime with this procedure with post-op care during that time which includes lymphatic massage, hyperbaric chamber, IV therapy, and hormonal optimization to decrease the downtime and boost results. After 2-4 weeks, radiofrequency treatments such as Venus Legacy and truSculpt flex can be done for further enhancement. Final results for this procedure can be seen after a year. Dr. Jason Emer suggests very intensive post-op care to all of his patients to increase results and speed up the healing process. The post-op protocol includes Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, IV therapy/hydration, radiofrequency, and Venus Legacy. Lymphatic massage paired up with the above will assist with healing and pain levels of the procedure.
