According to the Assam police, the student, studying technology, had allegedly written a letter to ISIS using his LinkedIn profile. The police claim to have recovered an email in which the student expressed his intent to join ISIS. Following a thorough verification, an investigation was initiated which led to his arrest from the Hojo area, near Guwahati.
