| Video Discription | #Tomatogothsu #YourEverydayCook #idlidosa Tomato 🍅 Gothsu My fav way to prepare a dish with tomatoes 🍅 and a simple coconut chili paste . Ingredients 3-4 medium ripe tomatoes 🍅 2 onions 🧅 finely chopped 2-3 green chilies 1/4 cup grated coconut 🥥 2 tbsp fried gram Salt 1 tsp oil 1/2 tsp mustard seeds 1/2 tsp split udad dal Few curry leaves 🍃 Chopped coriander leaves for garnish Boil or pressure cook tomatoes with some chopped onions Allow to cool , peel tomatoes skins Blend to purée with the cooked onions Keep aside . In a pan add oil , prepare tempering, add curry leaves, chopped onions, sautee till translucent, add the tomatoes onion purée , turmeric powder , cover and cook till thickening , meanwhile grind 1/2 or 1/4 cup coconut with fried gram , green chilies to smooth paste . Add this paste to the tomatoes onion mixture , dilute if needed . Adjust salt , Keep consistency little thin .
