For many years, this iconic stretch of coastline has captured the imagination of surfers, sun-seekers, and adventure enthusiasts from around the world. Gold Coast is famous for the golden beaches and laid-back lifestyle, but it's also got a vibrant cityscape. We start the day exploring one of the tallest residential buildings in Australia, the Q1 Tower. We go for a delicious breakfast at the SkyPoint observatory. From there, we walk around the most famous areas in Surfers Paradise, especially Cavill & Orchid Avenues, and then enjoy Surfers Paradise beach. We also go for a sunset river cruise and enjoy the beachfront market and Gold Coast's nightlife. Gold Coast is a short train ride away from Brisbane, the state capital of Queensland.
