| Video Discription | This is a solid desktop setup, with a touch of a modern look to it. This makes a great workstation/gaming desktop setup and cost me less than $120 to put together. I used the IKEA Gerton https://bit.ly/2XPerML desktop that I found second-hand for $60; alternatively, you can use the smaller IKEA HILVER bamboo tabletop https://bit.ly/3aoPMBs for this project as well. I used 28 inch 2-pin hairpin legs https://amzn.to/2AjGIlx !!!Make sure to pre-drill pilot holes for the wood screw - And use a tape/stopper on your drill bit to prevent over-drilling through the desk!!! Tools needed: Drill https://amzn.to/3eT6jkc, Screwdriver for installation, tape measure Hardware needed: #8 or #10 sized 1inch or 1 1/4 inch wood screws ($1 at local hardware stores, you need 12 of them plus some spare) Treat both sides of the slab with 3-4 coats of mineral oil ($1) to keep wood moist and protected, and re-apply regularly as needed. Alternatively, you can sand the surface smooth, stain it a darker color, and apply polyurethane for more durable protection. Hope you found this video helpful!
