Seen here at nearly 71 years of age, William Frederick Mills shines on both Piccolo Trumpet and Bb Trumpet, with Fasch's CONCERTO, Gershwin's SOMEONE TO WATCH OVER ME, and Robert Farnon's SCHERZANDO. On a personal note, "Fred" was my chief musical mentor and good friend whose friendship and counsel I very much miss.
