Former Liverpool football player Anthony Le Tallec recorded himself giving an account from the scene. He said he was out running when he saw the attack and police subsequently shooting the suspect. He said he heard one woman shouting: 'Run, run, there is a guy who is stabbing everybody all along the lake! he stabbed some children'.
