" 410 Gone"); 2. Check to see if it worked! Use RedBot or any other Page Header tool: https://redbot.org Visit any page that does not exist in your WordPress and be sure 404 is being changed to 410! --- Do you have the WordFence issue where Google is indexing thousands of non-existent WordFence pages? (e.g., yourdomain.com/?wordfence_lh=1*) 1. Change the live traffic settings in WordFence (see example near the end of this video). 2. Add this code to your wp-config.php definitions: define('WORDFENCE_DISABLE_LIVE_TRAFFIC', true); 3. Change the 404 to 410 as explained above. |
